Attendance Requirements: Participants arriving late or departing early will not receive credit or documentation of attendance. No partial credit provided.

Professional Association CE Credit Approval For Psychologists: For Psychologists, the RIPA Continuing Professional Education Committee is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. RIPA maintains responsibility for these programs and their contents. The number of credits for each program will be indicated along with the other information about the program provided on this website and in the registration form for each program.

For Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, and Nurses: Applications for continuing education credits have been submitted to specific regulatory boards for approval for certain workshops only, as indicated in the information and registration form for each workshop.

Registration Fees: These vary by workshop, but are usually lower for Rhode Island Psychological Association members than for non-members.

Parking and Lunch: Unless otherwise specified, fees include refreshment breaks. Each workshop announcement will specify whether or not parking and lunch will be included.

Late Registration: Fee per workshop is $20 (for registration postmarked later than 7 days prior to workshop).

Cancellation: A handling fee of $30 per workshop is deducted for cancellation 7 days prior to the workshop. No refund will be made thereafter.
 
Special Requests: If you require ADA accomodations, please contact RIPA (401-736-2900) at least one week prior to the workshop.

Grievances: Written grievances about the workshop should be addressed to the RIPA CPE Committee.
